What your first few weeks look like
Most patients feel the appetite effect within the first couple of weeks. Some experience mild nausea or other GI changes during the first 2-3 weeks of each dose step, which usually settles as the body adjusts. Joy reviews your history at the consult to confirm semaglutide is a good fit and is available through the patient portal if anything comes up.
