Pay With Pre-Tax Dollars

Priced for your HSA

As of January 1, 2026, you can pay direct primary care and concierge membership fees with pre-tax HSA dollars, up to $150 per month for an individual and $300 per month for a family. Both Nuovara tiers sit right under those caps on purpose, so your membership can be paid with tax-advantaged dollars. Depending on your bracket, that effectively discounts the membership 22 to 37 percent.

What does the concierge membership actually include?
Unlimited text and call access to Joy, same-day or next-day appointments, no waiting rooms, personalized treatment plans, prescription refills and medication management, weight loss and metabolic support, urgent care for non-emergency conditions, men's health support, and ongoing follow-up. The membership covers Joy's access, time, and care coordination.
What is not included in the membership?
Medications, labs, shipping, and any mobile services (IV drips, injection visits) are billed separately at member-friendly rates. The membership is for access and ongoing care, not the cost of goods. This keeps the monthly price low and under the HSA cap.
Can I pay with my HSA?
Yes. As of January 1, 2026, concierge and direct primary care membership fees can be paid with pre-tax HSA dollars, up to $150/month for an individual and $300/month for a family. Both tiers are priced right under those caps so you can use tax-advantaged dollars.
What does the Family membership cover?
The Family membership covers a household of up to four people for $299/month. Each member gets the same unlimited concierge access. Additional members beyond four can be added for $40/month each.
How is this different from a physician concierge practice?
Traditional physician-led concierge practices in Houston often charge thousands per month and still bill insurance on top. Nuovara is telehealth-delivered concierge care from a board-certified Nurse Practitioner, which makes the same level of access far more affordable.
Do I have to live in Houston to enroll?
No. This service is delivered by telehealth, so any Texas resident can enroll. You'll meet Joy by secure video visit, and your medication ships from a partner pharmacy directly to your door.
Do you take insurance?
Nuovara Health is a cash-pay practice, which means you pay us directly at the time of service. We don't bill insurance. The advantage is transparent pricing and no insurance-driven restrictions on your care. Some prescriptions can still run through your insurance at your local pharmacy.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask for 24 hours notice on any cancellation. Cancellations or reschedules inside the 24-hour window are subject to a $50 fee. Mobile no-shows are charged the full visit fee because supplies and travel are already committed. We're a small practice and this protects time for the patients who need it.
